Nikki Singer was selected as the Outstanding Adjunct Teacher of the Year for Oklahoma City University. Teachers must be nominated by fellow faculty or students. A committee made up of past award winners (full-time and adjunct) evaluate the nominations and make the final selection.

Nikki was surprised by President McDaniel, Provost Patterson, and members of the selection committee on the last day of ballet. She was awarded $250 which she immediately gave back to the dance program to put toward costumes. She was then honored at the Spring Graduation.

Nikki announced her retirement this year after serving as a ballet teacher at OCU for over 30 years. She will be greatly missed!
