Yes, the essay is considered for scholarships.
It is $40 unless you visit the campus, and we waive the application fee.
The Oklahoma City University undergraduate application for admission is available throughout the year, both by mail and online. For incoming traditional freshmen, we begin accepting applications for the fall entry term of the following year as early as August of the previous year. We have a few admission deadlines to keep in mind: If a student is applying with 29 or less college credit hours, Oklahoma City University will need an official high school transcript.
Transfer students who are in good academic and financial standing with their previous institution are admissible to Oklahoma City University.
Generally, yes. We will accept as many as 90 credits from accredited colleges and universities and may grant credit for military service. Our Office of Admissions and academic departments will work with you to make your transfer to Oklahoma City University as seamless as possible.
