The Oklahoma City University undergraduate application for admission is available throughout the year, both by mail and online. For incoming traditional freshmen, we begin accepting applications for the fall entry term of the following year as early as August of the previous year. If a student is applying with 29 or less college credit hours, Oklahoma City University will need an official high school transcript.

Transfer students who are in good academic and financial standing with their previous institution are admissible to Oklahoma City University.

Generally, yes. We will accept as many as 90 credits from accredited colleges and universities and may grant credit for military service. Our Office of Admissions and academic departments will work with you to make your transfer to Oklahoma City University as seamless as possible. Transfer students are eligible to apply for the same types of financial aid as traditional undergraduate students. This includes scholarships, grants, loans, and part-time campus employment.

Transfer students are traditionally welcomed to the community of Oklahoma City University with a Welcome Luncheon, being invited to special enrollment days, and receiving information about orientation activities that would be particularly helpful to transfer students. Because we believe that a valuable part of a student's learning experience occurs in the University residence halls, we require single, full-time undergraduate students under the age of 21 to live on campus unless they live with a parent or legal guardian while attending Oklahoma City University.

Each student who owns an automobile and plans to park on campus must purchase a valid parking sticker from the Campus Police Department. When you visit campus, a temporary parking permit will be issued to you free of charge.

Disability Services is housed with the Student Health Clinic and provides classroom accommodations and assistance to undergraduate and graduate students with documented disabilities.
