Admission Requirements

Students entering Oklahoma City University as a full-time freshman during the fall semester immediately following high school graduation are required to:

     Meet Oklahoma City University's regular admission standards. Regular admission standards include a 22 ACT or 1020 SAT and a minimum 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale). Students must also rank in the top 50% of their graduating class.

      Complete and submit the Oklahoma City University application for admission, including the required essay portion.

      Submit one letter of recommendation from a high school counselor, teacher or principal.

     Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA can be accessed and completed on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Include Oklahoma City University as a college of choice. OCU’s School Code is 003166.

     Complete Oklahoma City University’s Student Data Form. This document can be accessed and completed at www.okcu.edu/financialaid/forms.aspx.

     Submit all other financial aid documents as necessary, for use in completion of the financial aid process, as requested by Oklahoma City University’s Office of Financial Aid.
