Hometown:
Harrisonville, MO

Alma Mater:
Oklahoma City University for undergraduate and graduate school

Areas I recruit:
I primarily work with students in the Mid-Western United States including Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. I also work with four Oklahoma City Schools including Classen SAS, Harding Charter, Harding Fine Arts, and Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics.

Hobbies and Interests:
I enjoy singing, reading, fly-fishing, playing with my golden retriever named Teddy, and watching movies with my husband.

Favorite Class in College:
In undergraduate, I loved Hot Topics in Politics with President Henry and Senator David Holt as well as Theory III, Theory IV, and Forms and Analysis with Dr. Heine. During my graduate studies, I enjoyed my economics courses with Dr. Evans and Dr. Dean.

Favorite Restaurant in Oklahoma City:
Sala Thai is my favorite within walking distance of campus. I also love just about every restaurant in our area that is a member of Keep It Local OK, but my husband and I especially love Belle Isle.

Favorite place to hang out in Oklahoma City:
So many areas in the city are changing and growing. I love the Plaza District, Paseo Arts District, our downtown area, and of course, Uptown 23rd Street - the main street that runs along campus. We also have a great zoo, science museum, and NBA team. There's always something fun going on!

Why OCU?
OCU feels like home to me. It's a great place to build relationships and a wonderful institution of learning. Come visit, and see if you agree!

My advice to you:
Visit any school you're considering. I never thought I would love a school in Oklahoma when I was a senior in high school, but I visited OCU and it became my first choice almost immediately. It's important to go to a school you love and to study what you love.
