Living the Good Life

Now that your son/daughter has been admitted to Oklahoma City University, it is important to start planning for their living arrangements. The University is proud of the fact that it is a residential campus. Students who attend OCU are required to live on campus until they are twenty-one years of age. This also means that we guarantee housing for your student.

OCU offers a variety of housing options ranging from suite-style residential halls to apartment living. Residential halls are both co-ed and same gender facilities, depending on the student's preference.

Amenities include high-speed internet access, laundry, big screen televisions, microwaves, and games like pool and table tennis. Students can also rent micro-fridges for their room. Click here for more information about what students should bring when they move-in.

Each residence hall varies in cost. For information on housing rates, click here.

For questions, contact University Housing at (405) 208-7907 or email Ade Okediji

When to Apply for Housing & Roommates

Students are encouraged to apply for housing as soon as they decide to make OCU their university home. Housing assignments will be given out at STARS 101. Housing applications must be accompanied by a $250 housing fee. After the final STARS 101, housing will open to new students unable to attend STARS 101.

Students will fill out a questionnaire about their living style and preferences when applying for housing. The residence life staff will work to pair students together who will be well-matched for the academic year. If your son/daughter already has a roommate in mind, make sure they request each other on their housing applications.
