Curriculum & Daily Life
Our curriculum features a 3-credit college course, Introduction to Creative Writing, taught by Professor Rob Roensch. Students will meet daily to workshop their own material and learn about craft across multiple genres. Young writers also have the chance to participate in specialized sessions offered by guest writers in conjunction with the Red Earth MFA program.
In addition to our college course and other instructional sessions, students will have the opportunity to spend time in and be inspired by history and art offered here on campus and Oklahoma City in general. Below is a sample day in the two week program.
