Oxford Plan: Fast Track to a Law Degree

The Oxford Plan is an interdisciplinary major administered jointly by the departments of political science and philosophy and includes preferential admission policies at the School of Law. This major is patterned after the famous philosophy, politics, and economics major at the University of Oxford. For a full description of the major, please visit the Oxford Plan page. Please contact either Scott Davidson (sdavidson@okcu.edu) or Richard Johnson (rjohnson@okcu.edu) if you are interested in learning more about this program.

Joint Major in Religion & Philosophy (B.A.)

The joint major in philosophy and religion is designed primarily for those students who want to undertake ethical and religious studies within a rigorous philosophical and theological context in preparation either for advanced academic study in philosophy or religion or professional training for the ordained ministry.

The core requirements in the history of philosophy and the history of Christianity are intended to provide students with a systematic grounding in the major philosophical and theological resources of Western philosophy and the Judeo-Christian tradition. For a full description of the degree plan, please visit the School of Religion's page.
