The Oxford Plan is an interdisciplinary major with concentrations in the areas of political science, philosophy, and economics. This major is patterned after a very successful program at the University of Oxford, which has produced many international leaders (such as Nobel Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi, Justice Stephen Breyer, and many others). Through the study of political science, philosophy, and economics, students learn about the functions of government, the nature of justice, and the foundations of economic policy. These are essential knowledge areas for anyone who is interested in a career in servant leadership, whether it involves working with public policy, the legal system, or private corporations.
