Master of Science in Criminology

The Master of Science in Criminology program at OCU offers a curriculum that promotes the development of skills required in the workforce. Students study with faculty working on contemporary issues facing Oklahoma, the United States and the world. We can accomplish this with the assistance of our connections to various local, state, and federal agencies like Oklahoma City Police Department, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigaion, U.S. Marshals Service. This advisory board provides direct connections for our students with potential employers as well as developing critical analysis skills for contemporary social issues.

Graduates of our program can be found working across the country in these and other agencies: CARE Child Abuse and Response Evaluation Center, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Oklahoma City Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service to name a few.

The majority of our classes are on an 8-week rotating basis, which means that you take two classes at a time and four classes a semester. With a degree from OCU, you will learn the science, theory, research, and application of the entire criminal justice process.
