Project Management Professional

Oklahoma City University is pleased to offer a powerful course to prepare students for the PMP® exam. The Meinders School of Business and the PMI-OKC Chapter of the Project Management Institute® have partnered to prepare continuing education students to earn the Project Management Professional designation. 

The 10-week course meets on-campus, one day per week on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Class Start Dates:

Fall:  September 12 - November 21, 2015 - Registration for admission to the Fall class must be received by August 21st, 2015. Registrations received after the deadline may defer to the spring session.  Register for enrollment

  • Tuition: $1495; plus the cost of books. ($90). 
  • Book: 5TH EDITION of the PMBOK and is designed for professionals who wish to take the next step and earn their PMP® designation.

Current and former OCU students in good standing and enrolled in a university degree program are eligible to receive a $300 discount. Companies with 3+ students enrolled in the same class are also eligible for the discount.

Project Management Professional Course

This course will prepare the student for the PMP® exam by examining the special nature of projects – concepts, definitions and approaches. Critical to mastering the PMI® methodology is a clear understanding of the phases of the Project Management Life Cycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control, and Closeout; and the related processes and sub-processes that characterize the project management approach: Integration Management, Scope Management, Time Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Human Resource Management, Communications Management, Risk Management, Procurement Management and Professional Responsibility.
