Digital recordings of CETL Workshops
This year CETL will record faculty workshops and post these videos on iTunes.
To access these video recordings, please click here.
How to Download CETL Videos via iTunesU
- Go to the CETL Homepage
- Click on the Services tab at the top of the page.
- Around the middle of the page there will be a link called “Online Resources” click on it.
- Under the first title at the top of the page called “Digital recordings of CETL Workshops” will be a small sentence with a click here button at the end of it. Click on it to visit the OCU technology website.
- Under the 2nd title called “Opening OCU on iTunesU” near the top of the page will be a couple of links. Click the first one called Open Public Site.
- After Clicking that link iTunes should open automatically. (If your computer does not have iTunes on it already you will have to download it before you can view the videos.)
- Once iTunes has opened it should automatically take you to the OCU iTunes website. Click on “CETL”.
- On the next page you will see all the individual videos listed on the lower half of the screen. These are videorecordings of past CETL workshops and events.
- To watch a video you can:
A) watch the video online (this is the quickest way) by double-clicking on the title of the video you want to watch. Wait a few minutes for the video to begin playing.
..or…
B) download a video by simply clicking on the Get button to the right of the video. All the videos are free. (This will download it to your computer, which you could also transfer to your iPod, if you wish). Some of these videos are long and will take up to an hour to download. To view the video once it has downloaded go to your Music Library (on the left side) then double click on the one you want and it will start playing automatically.
CETL Resource Library: Professional Development Collection
CETL offers faculty a resource library of books and journals related to teaching and learning, instructional technology, and creativity and the arts. These books and journals are held in the Faculty Reading Room on the second floor of the Dulaney-Browne Library. To search for titles in this collection, please visit the Dulaney-Browne Library website and search the library’s online catalog (note: you may limit your search to the location designated as “Professional Development”).
