8:00 - 8:30am Registration and check-in
8:30 - 9:30am Dancer preparation
9:45 - 10:15am Performance by The American Spirit Dance Company
10:15 - 10:55am Introduction of auditioners
10:55 - 11:00am Assignment of auditioners to studios
11:00am - 12:00pm   Warm-up Class
12:00 - 1:00pm Technique Class (Tap, Jazz or Ballet)
1:00 - 2:00pm Lunch, served on the lower level of the Gaylord Center
2:00 - 3:00pm Technique Class (Tap, Jazz or Ballet)
3:15 - 4:15pm Technique Class (Tap, Jazz or Ballet)
4:15 - 6:30pm Auditioners' solo performances: Auditioners perform a dance of your choice to a CD you bring with you; limit thirty seconds please.

Auditioners must complete all technique sessions and the personal performance.
All sections of the audition will be held in the Gaylord Center.
Only ONE observer per auditioner.
Solo performances will be closed to observers.

Eligibility Requirements

The dance program will not accept admission audition registrations or video submissions from auditioners with ACT scores below 19 or SAT scores below 920 (excluding writing test) for the dance performance major, or ACT scores below 21 or SAT scores below 1000 (excluding writing test) for the dance management and American dance teacher major, or where this information has not been provided.

Transfer students are required to submit college transcripts to be evaluated to be eligible to audition. Transcripts may be sent prior to registering for the audition or immediately after registering. Transcripts do not have to be official copies. Registration Deadline

The mail-in registrations deadline is Friday, March 21, and online registrations deadline is Tuesday, March 15.

Registration Fees

$26 through February 1
$34 after February 1

$11 without lunch
$17 including lunch at the Gaylord Center

Note: No one may observe or participate in the audition unless registration fees have been received by the registration deadline, Tuesday, March 19, 2014. Late registrations received after the registration deadline will be returned or refunded.
