Veronica Fell Wilcox as been an Artist-in-Residence in Ballet since 2003, teaching all levels of ballet as well as pointe and partnering.
She received early training at the Royal Academy of Dance in New Zealand and then continued formal training with the Boston Ballet. She entered the company while still in high school and later was promoted to soloist, dancing for Boston Ballet for nine seasons. She became a member of the ballet for Lyric Opera of Chicago where she met and married opera singer Doyle Wilcox. In Chicago, she danced for Ruth Page's Chicago Ballet and worked with Larry Long. She also danced for Zurich Opera Ballet, Geneva Ballet, Lucerne Opera Ballet, and Bern Ballet. Her roles included "Sugar Plum Fairy", "Swanhilda", and "Giselle" from the classical repertoire along with ballets by Balanchine and others.
She treasures the opportunity to have worked with many internationally known artists including ballerina Maria Tallchief, an honored Oklahoman. Wilcox was Ballet Mistress for Coburg Ballet and Aachen Ballet, both in Germany, and was an instructor at such schools as Boston Ballet School, Walnut Hill in Boston, California Ballet School and Lubbock Ballet.
