May
3, 2002 marked the beginning of a growing tradition in the School of
American Dance and Arts Management, "A Tribute to the Stars Awards
Banquet." This event, sponsored by the Students of Arts Management,
recognized students from the Dance Performance, Dance Management, and
Entertainment Business Degree tracks. Graduating Seniors were honored
for their academic and outstanding achievement at OCU.
Golden Moment Awards were given to students who got caught in situations
that will never be forgotten. The new Cobalt Awards were chosen by the
faculty and given to students in the department who performed their
best throughout the academic year. The People's Choice Awards, voted
for by the students, were given to those who supercede others in the
best red lipstick category and those who are always the ones who forget
to turn off their cell phone.
