JEREMY KIESMAN, Artist-in-Residence
in tap, started tap dancing at a young age studying the technique
of hoofing and improvisational foot percussion at Henry Le
Tang's School of Professional Tap in New York City. Since then,
he has studied all areas of dance with some of the best teachers
in Manhattan. He has trained privately with tap master James "Buster" Brown
and has worked with such masters as Gregory Hines, Gwen Verdon,
and Tommy Tune. Kiesman also has the honor of being the first
American in the hit show Tap Dogs which toured North America
and Europe. His television credits include The Tonight Show
with Jay Leno, Regis and Kathie Lee, Vibe and
MTV. Most recently he toured in Germany with Magic of the
Dance. He is proud to join the faculty of Oklahoma
City University’s Ann Lacy School of American Dance at
and is excited to share some wonderful new material with eager
dancers!
