Jessica
is currently the assistant to the dance chairman Jo Rowan. She
is a Minnesota native and began her professional performance career
at a young age. She danced featured roles in The Nutcracker with
The Minnesota Ballet and toured with the Minnesota Children’s
Dance Ensemble. One of the biggest highlights of her performance
career was being on a US Goodwill Ambassador Tour to Russia and
former parts of the Soviet Union. She has also performed in Branson,
MO in The Shoji Tabuchi Show and the Wonder of Christmas,
The Orange Bowl, Disney Magic Music Days, the Atlanta Summer Olympics,
and Entertainment Tonight Dinner Theatre.
In addition to teaching
workshops and master classes around the mid-west, she also had
the honor of working for the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute.
Jessica is a Cum Laude graduate of Oklahoma City University with
a Bachelor in Performing Arts. As a student she performed in West
Side Story, The Merry Widow, and was a member of the American
Spirit Dance Company. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Fine
Arts in dance pedagogy.
