Kelli Rhodes
Stevens is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Oklahoma City University,
where she received her Bachelor of Performing Arts degree in Dance
Performance. Kelli has served as choreographer of Oklahoma Opera
and Music Theatre Company’s productions of Seussical
the Musical and most recently Guys and Dolls. She
also choreographed the OCU Vocal Arts Academy’s performance
of Footloose. Her choreography can be seen on the stages
of the Oklahoma National Teenager Pageant and Oklahoma’s
Outstanding Teenager Pageants, and was featured on OETA Oklahoma
City’s television program Gallery. Mrs. Stevens is a frequent
guest choreographer and master teacher at dance studios in Oklahoma,
Texas, and Illinois, where her unique music theatre, jazz, and
lyrical choreography has won numerous awards at state and national
dance competitions and scholarship pageants.
In addition to the
extensive training she received at OCU, Kelli’s knowledge
of dance was achieved through her studies at Ballet Oklahoma,
the University of Oklahoma, Southern Methodist University, and
the Gus Giordano Dance Center in Chicago.
Kelli currently
teaches all levels of jazz classes, including Basic and Beyond
Basic Movement Jazz, all levels of ballet, choreographs for the
American Spirit Dance Company, and serves as the faculty supervisor
of the Spirit of Grace Liturgical
Dance Company.
