Doctor Cholly Atkins Passes Away

Cholly Atkins,
recipient of an Oklahoma City University Honorary Doctorate of Performing
Arts in American Dance in 2002 and one of our nine "Doctors
of Dance", died in Las Vegas on Easter Sunday from pancreatic

In addition to the honorary doctorate, Oklahoma City University's
School of American Dance & Arts Management recognized Cholly's
lifetime achievement in 1999 with its Living Treasure in American
Dance Award. Cholly was loved and respected by everyone who knew
him. He will be missed. |
