Experienced
and knowledgeable, Susan Cosby served as company manager and production
stage manager of The American Spirit Dance Company for 7 years.
She is now an Assistant Professor, teaching Contracts for Performers,
Dance History I & II, Production Lab and a new Stage Management
class.
Mrs. Cosby
toured with the national company of Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond, where she performed
as swing and held the position of assistant children's movement
director. A member of Actor's Equity Association, she has traveled
extensively, performing for regional theatres, Walt Disney World,
Norwegian and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and has performed throughout
Europe with the tour of 42nd Street.
She
has stage managed a multitude of shows, including four productions
of Yuletide Magic with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic;
major productions of The American Spirit Dance Company; international
tours to Malaysia and Singapore; and domestic tours to New Mexico,
Illinois, and Tennessee.
Mrs. Cosby
holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance and a
Master of Business Administration with Arts Management Track,
both from Oklahoma City University. She recently completed an
extensive research paper on planning and managing international
performance tours.
