Oklahoma City University Weightlifting/Barbell Club


Founded in the fall of 2011, the OCU Weightlifting/Barbell Club is dedicated to providing quality coaching and a great training space for those interested in Olympic Weightlifting. There are currently five members actively training with many more lifters learning and making progress towards regular training. Currently the club boasts two national even qualifiers listed below. We are looking forward to adding many more lifters to our national qualifier and competition list.

Kayla Yraceburu, 75kg+, University Nationals 2013, 2014 (9th place)

Training times vary but currently times are Monday and Friday at 9-10am and 1:30 Fri, along with Tues and Thurs mornings at 8:30am and Tues and 3pm. OKC community members are welcome and later and early training times are available upon request.
