The Oklahoma City University bookstore will offer a new method for students to charge books, beginning later this summer.
OCU has contracted with Tree of Life to manage the bookstore, which offers a charge program. The program will replace OCU’s bookstore advance program (BAP), which allowed students to add funds to their ID cards for book purchases. Students who have funds remaining on their cards (as a result of the former BAP program) from the spring or summer semesters will be able to use them for book purchases until funds are depleted.
Charges, as a result of utilizing the book charge program, will be added to your student account. The charges will be included in the monthly invoice and will be due upon receipt or can be paid monthly as part of an approved payment plan. The ‘Understanding Your Bill Handout’ is attached to this email to give you more specific details about payment plans. Please note late payments may result in late fees.
Students who have a hold as a result of a past due balance will not be permitted to participate in the book charge program.
Students without accounts receivable holds may charge within the following date parameters:
Traditional Students: Aug. 3 to 28
1L Law: July 20 to Aug. 14
Law: July 3 to Aug. 14
August to October Term: July 27 to Aug. 14
October to December Term: Oct. 5 to Oct. 23
