About Us

The team is a co-curricular student organization based out of the Rhetoric Program in the Philosophy Department. However, the program serves the interests of all students across campus. From Political Scientists to Biologists--everyone benefits through researching, constructing, presenting, and refuting argumentation. Whether through the rational world paradigm of debate or through the narrative paradigm of poetry, prose and dramatic interpretation,participation in forensics is a challenging and rewarding experience.

While we hope to attract students who are quite serious about national and international competition, we are definitely willing to accommodate those who may not have the time for a serious commitment to travel, yet still wish to contribute on more of a local and/or regional level.
