Oklahoma City University
Speech and Debate

ABOUT THE TEAM

OCU Speech and Debate is a nationally competitive program emphasizing parliamentary debate and individual events. Competition is open to all students, regardless of major or prior experience, who are willing to develop and sharpen their speaking, researching, writing, argumentation, and performance skills. There is nothing you can do that you won’t do better because of forensics.

Practice is open to all, but competition slots may be limited. Priority for most tournaments will go to students who have made an ongoing commitment to competition.
