December 2, 2009
LIGHT THE CAMPUS 2009 Celebrating its ninth year, Oklahoma City University’s Light The Campus event will be held Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009. The occasion marks the beginning of the holiday season with a free evening of food, crafts, holiday dinner, and decorating the campus, as well as observing the spirit of giving. Those attending are encouraged to bring donations of food, clothing, and toys for the university’s chosen charities, the Skyline Urban Ministries and the Exodus House. The evening begins with crafts, pictures with Santa and Miss OCU, and a holiday dinner before the trumpeter’s call to chapel. The program continues with a candlelight processional and caroling to the Bishop W. Angie Smith Chapel, and concludes with the Hanging of the Greens and a chapel service.
