Congratulations to the following persons who have been selected to comprise the OCU team of the 2007-2008 Jessup International Law Moot Court competition:

There will be a not too long but important team meeting for the named individuals in the Special Collections Room in the One North Wing of the Law Library at 5:00 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2007.

For those of you who were not selected, allow me to thank you for your willing and able participation in the selection process. This year’s pool of applicants presented me with an “embarrassment of riches” problem. If any of those not selected wish to inquire further as to the hows and whys of the selection process, please contact me. The evaluating criteria included demonstrated analytical, oral and writing abilities, overall GPA, grades earned in Legal Research and Writing courses, expressed interest and experience in mooting, and expressed interest and experience in International Law. I urge each of you to continue pursuing your advocacy aspirations in one way or another.
