MOOT COURT COMPETITIONS
Moot court competitions provide an excellent way for law students to develop courtroom skills and to gain an appreciation for the extensive preparation needed for trials or appeals.
OCU Law students have several opportunities to observe and participate in Inn of Court and Moot Court sessions. First-year law students, for example, can voluntarily participate in intramural oral advocacy competition that includes legal arguments in front of judges drawn from the legal community.
Oklahoma City University School of Law regularly sends one or more teams of students to each of the following national and international competitions:
