Buenos Aires As the world becomes an integrated global economy, lawyers must become acquainted with international law and foreign legal systems. As the fastest growing economic region in the world, South America has become a key player in global economic and legal relations. As a result of the creation of MERCOSUR, the South American counterpart to NAFTA, South American companies are well poised to become competitive players on world markets. Thus, Argentina presents an ideal location for the Institute in International Law.

The application deadline is April 1, 2010 but you are advised to complete the application process in advance of this deadline because programs often fill up before the application deadline.

Application Items to be Completed for OCU

Before applying make sure you are eligible to enroll.

Turn in the following to Gwyn Davis in the Deans Office:

1. Office of International Education (OIE) Application
2. A copy of your passport (can be made for you in the Deans Office).
3. Resume (these are used to mold the program to the participants).
4. Pay all fees and costs to the OCU Bursar's Office by May 25 (this will include final tuition and housing costs, administrative fee, book fee, and any additional fees charged by Stetson).  The Stetson application fee, tuition deposit, and housing deposit are paid directly to Stetson as described below.
5. Attend the mandatory OIE Orientation.  You will be notified of the time and place of this orientation.
6. Purchase the travel & health insurance offered by Stetson.
7. A copy of your travel itinerary after your travel arrangements have been made.

1. Complete the Program Application and pay the application fee, tuition deposit, and housing deposit directly to Stetson.
