Academic Program

The four week program includes an introduction to the American legal system and the role of attorneys in that system, an introduction to sources of law in America and research and writing techniques for American law, and an introduction to trial advocacy in the American legal system. Faculty for the program are drawn from the full-time faculty at OCU Law.

Professional Activities

Gain first hand knowledge of how the American legal system works. Events include tours of local law firms and courts, meetings with lawyers and judges, sitting in on trial court proceedings, and more.

Cultural Activities

Experience the unique culture and heritage of the State of Oklahoma. Numerous outings are planned including trips to local museums, a Native American Pow Pow, an Oklahoma City Redhawks baseball game, an evening in the downtown entertainment district Bricktown, and more.
