SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR CURRENT STUDENTS

General Scholarship Application

OCU Scholarships

The deadline for submission of the general scholarship application is Monday, April 2, 2007 by 5:00 p.m.  Please submit your application to the Academic Affairs Office in the Dean's Suite; hardcopies are preferable, but applications that are scanned and then e-mailed to lawaa@okcu.edu are also acceptable.  If you have any questions regarding scholarship opportunities and/or the application process, please contact the Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs via email (above) or at (405) 208-5877.

Scholarship funds are typically divided evenly between the fall and spring semesters.  If you want your scholarship allocated unevenly (e.g. because you want to take more hours in the fall and fewer in the spring), exceptions may be made.  All you need to do is send an e-mail to lawaa@okcu.edu.

If you are currently a renewable scholarship recipient:

Your scholarship will be automatically renewed next year if your grades at the end of the academic year place you in the top half of your class (or section), or as otherwise stated in your scholarship letter.  Although current renewable scholarships will be automatically renewed if earned, you still need to fill out this application if you are seeking an increase in funds.  OCU may not always have the funding to automatically increase merit scholarships to match the increase in tuition, so it is always best to submit an application for an increase in funds.
