Certificate Programs OCU LAW offers four certificate programs. Two in Business Law; one with an Electronic Commerce Concentration and one with a Financial Services and Commercial Law Concentration. The third is a certificate in Public Law. The fourth is a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
JD/MBA A joint JD/MBA program designed to provide a meaningful combined experience for students with an interest in law and business.
Department of Academic Achievement OCU LAW administers programs to assist students during law school and with the transition from the classroom to professional life.
Moot Court Competitions Moot court competitions provide an excellent way for law students to develop courtroom skills and to gain an appreciation for the extensive preparation needed for trials or appeals.
OCU LAW students have several opportunities to observe and participate in moot court sessions.
Study Abroad Opportunities OCU LAW co-sponsors, with Stetson University College of Law, four summer international programs. Each program earns four hours of academic credit. The programs are located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Freiburg, Germany and Hague, Netherlands, Granada, Spain and Tinjian, China.
Course Descriptions OCU LAW offers a wide variety of courses designed to produce graduates who have a breadth of understanding that enables them to become leaders in law, business, government and civic life.
Required Curriculum The core curriculum for every OCU LAW student includes a purposeful balance of legal theory and practical application.

At OCU LAW, you'll be a part of a special blend of students - each of whom is treated as an individual. We maintain an atmosphere that encourages interaction between students and instructors. OCU LAW's friendly student services staff, headed by the Associate Dean for Students, offers broad support to students. The staff includes a financial aid advisor to assist OCU LAW students with securing educational loans.

Alternative Dispute Resolution Program (ADR) ADR is one of the hottest topics in the law today–the program provides coherence and structure for the varied activities of OCU School of Law in the areas of negotiation, mediation, and arbitration.
Center for the Study of State Constitutional Law & Government: In addition to sponsoring workshops, scholarly writing, and public lectures, relating to state government -- the Center administers a Certificate in Public Law for students and provides extensive opportunities for externships with State Government offices.
Externship Programs: Externships provide opportunities to serve the community, add to your professional resume, and earn credit toward graduation while you are still in school.
Native American Legal Resource Center: The NALRC is dedicated to advancing scholarship in the field of American Indian law and improving the quality of legal representation for Native American while providing opportunities for students to gain experience practicing law under the supervision of a licensed attorney.
Public Interest Fellowships: Each summer, public interest fellowships for summer clerkships with organizations providing legal services to nonprofit entities and underrepresented members of society are awarded to OCU law students.
