Borrowing Privileges
OCU Law Alumni have lifetime borrowing privileges.

Circulating materials may be checked out for two weeks and renewed twice, unless needed by other patrons.
Renew your books by phone at 521-5271 or online through the library catalog.
Use your Oklahoma Bar Association Card as your Library Card.

Bar Examination Resources
Pick up a copy of the Bar Exam Pathfinder outside of the Reference Office or view it online at here.

The Law Library has a collection of previous Oklahoma Bar examination questions available for checkout (OCU Call No. KF 303.052). Consult the Pathfinder for other bar examination preparation resources available from the Law Library.

Computer Services

Use the computer lab for six months after you graduate.
Plug in your laptops to the carrels on Lower Level North, in study rooms, and on Third Floor South.

Databases (available on campus)

Congressional Universe- legislative history and information.
First Search- A catalog of over 27,000 Libraries.
EBSCO- A collection of non-legal news, science, and business databases.
Legal Trac- An index to legal periodicals with some periodicals in full text.
Hein Online- A database of legal periodicals and the Federal Register from 1936-1980.
Index to Legal Periodicals- Indexes legal periodicals from 1980 – present.
J-Stor- A searchable full text database on non-law related journals.
LLMC Digital- A database of older Federal executive, judicial and legislative materials.
News Bank- A database of over 500 national newspapers including the Daily Oklahoman from 1982 and the Tulsa World from 1989.
Index Master- Shows the table of contents for many law books. Public Access Shepard’s Terminal This powerful research tool instantly updates the current status and precedential history of primary and secondary legal materials. The terminal is located in the reference wing and is available to any patron of the library.

Library Catalog
The library catalog is accessible online here. The online catalog allows you to:

Search the Library’s collection
Login by clicking “Patron” from the blue tool bar and view a list of materials you have checked out and renew materials.
Browse a list of newly acquired titles.

Document Delivery
The Law Library staff will make copies of Library materials and hold them for pick up or fax them to you. The charge for this service is $ 5 per citation plus 20 ¢ per page for copies or 50 ¢ per page for faxes. Forms for this service are available at the circulation desk or by calling 521-5271.

Interlibrary Loan
If the Law Library does not have a resource you need it can probably be
borrowed from another library via interlibrary loan. Materials are usually
received within a few weeks. There is generally no charge for this service.
