Background:
Prior to joining the Law School Faculty as a visiting professor, Professor Clowney served as Law Clerk to the Hon. Ruggero J. Aldisert of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Santa Barbara, California. His research focuses on zoning, disputes between neighbors, real estate development, handwritten wills, and the history of cities. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Professor Clowney is a rabid fan of the Steelers. He also enjoys surfing, bad science fiction novels, and Irish punk music.
