Education:

B.A. Physics, Hendrix College, Conway, AR; M.S. Physics, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR; M.A. Biology, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR.

 

Experience:

Sammy has worked as a student worker at the Lyon College (Batesville, AR) and Hendrix College libraries for a total of 4 years.  He worked three years in Interlibrary Loan as a searcher and processor in Mullins Library and worked nine months as a graduate assistant in the Chemistry/Physics Library at the University of Arkansas.

Interests

Sammy plays roleplaying games (Dungeons & Dragons, Vampire the Masquerade, etc.), watches Japanese Anime, reads Manga, Science Fiction, Fantasy, and anything by Neil Gaiman, goes regularly to Renfaires, and also enjoys Renfaire folk bands, J-pop, and ‘80s and ‘90s alternative music.  He enjoys reading about history and comparative religions.  And he cooks (especially Italian and Korean cuisine and cookies).
