Education:
B.A. Oklahoma Baptist University 1985; J.D. University of Oklahoma 1988 (Summer 1986, Queens College Oxford University, England); LL.M. University of Georgia 2000; M.A. Air University 2002; M.L.I.S. University of Oklahoma 2006.
Responsibilities:
Darla’s
duties include overseeing the reference and circulation departments, coordinating electronic services, teaching Advanced Legal Research courses, and developing the law library's print and electronic collection.
Experience:
Darla's areas of emphasis include international and comparative law, government procurement, and military law. Before coming to OCU in the Summer of 2005 she was a research and reference assistant at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and teaching assistant at the University of Oklahoma School of Library and Information Studies. Darla is admitted to practice in the State of Oklahoma. She practiced law in the United States Air Force prior to her study at the University of Oklahoma’s School of Library and Information Studies.
