Foundation Center

Welcome to Foundation Center Cooperating Collection

PURPOSE

The Foundation Center Cooperating Collection (FCCC) of Oklahoma City University's Dulaney-Browne Library is an affiliate of the national Foundation Center. The Collection contains information on potential funding from foundations, corporations, the public sector and other sources for nonprofit organizations and individuals. Collection materials also include guides on grantseeking, proposal writing, and other means of fund raising, and texts on nonprofit management/board leadership and giving, voluntarism/volunteerism and civil society.

HOURS

The OCU FCCC is open during regular library hours.

Appointments are not required for FCCC patrons, but are available with the collection supervisor should consultation be desired and are recommended for the first time visitor.

Office Hours:Monday-Friday..........8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

RESOURCES

The cooperating collection maintains a current and comprehensive set of reference publications and other aids. These materials are available for use in the library. Patrons of the collection may want to allow for extended or frequent visits to the FCCC in order to conduct thorough and effective searches.

Specialized Internet Databases
Foundation Directory Online Professional is the Foundation Center's preeminent electronic instrument for initiating comprehensive, open-ended grantmaker and grant searches. Patrons wanting to use this system will need to have the Foundation Center Supervisor or a reference librarian to log on.

Patrons are encouraged to call the FCCC to find out about the availability of authorized on-campus parking at 208-5071.

ORIENTATION

Sessions on how to use the resources of the OCU FCCC can be scheduled for individuals or small groups by contacting the collection supervisor.

LIBRARY FEATURES

The Dulaney-Browne Library is a disabled-accessible facility. The library is equipped with coin operated copiers.
