Welcome to Foundation Center Cooperating Collection PURPOSE The Foundation Center Cooperating Collection (FCCC) of Oklahoma City University's Dulaney-Browne Library is an affiliate of the national Foundation Center. The Collection contains information on potential funding from foundations, corporations, the public sector and other sources for nonprofit organizations and individuals. Collection materials also include guides on grantseeking, proposal writing, and other means of fund raising, and texts on nonprofit management/board leadership and giving, voluntarism/volunteerism and civil society. HOURS The OCU FCCC is open during regular library hours. Appointments are not required for FCCC patrons, but are available with the collection supervisor should consultation be desired and are recommended for the first time visitor.     Office Hours:Monday-Friday..........8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. RESOURCES The cooperating collection maintains a current and comprehensive set of reference publications and other aids. These materials are available for use in the library. Patrons of the collection may want to allow for extended or frequent visits to the FCCC in order to conduct thorough and effective searches. FUNDING DATA: Specialized Internet Databases "Foundation Directory Online Professional" is the Foundation Center's preeminent electronic instrument for initiating comprehensive, open-ended grantmaker and grant searches. Patrons wanting to use this  system will need to have the Foundation Center Supervisor or a reference librarian to log on. "Foundation Grants for Individuals" is the Foundation Grants to Individuals Online. Foundation Directories that include: Annual Register of Grant Support Directories of Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas foundations Foundation 1000 Foundation Directory, Parts 1, 2 and Supplement Guide to U.S. Foundations, Their Trustees, Officers and Donors National Directory of Corporate Giving Taft Corporate Giving Directory Taft Directory of International Corporate Giving Specialized Grant Guides (Some 25 publications listing grants in many program areas) Specialized Grant Directories Directory of Biomedical /Health Care Directory of Building/Equipment Grants Directory of Computer/High Technology Directory of Education Grants Directory of Grants for Serving People with Disabilities Directory of Grants in the Humanities Directory of Health Grants Directory of Operating Grants Directory of Research Grants Directory of Social Service Grants Funding Sources for Economic/Community Development Subject Directories and Foundations Over a dozen Foundation Center titles as well as books from other publishers, listing grantmakers under broad program and subject areas OTHER PUBLICATIONS: Books in the areas of: Guides to grantseeking and proposal writing Corporate giving Specific program/organization-focused concerns General and specific forms of fund raising Government sources of support (e.g., Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance) Philanthropy, voluntarism and volunteerism Nonprofit management and board leadership Guides for actual and potential grantmakers Grants to individuals PARKING Patrons are encouraged to call the FCCC to find out about the availability of authorized on-campus parking at 208-5071. ORIENTATION Sessions on how to use the resources of the OCU FCCC can be scheduled for individuals or small groups by contacting the collection supervisor.
