Oklahoma City University is engaging in a strategic planning process to articulate a shared vision for the university and a path to achieve that vision. The strategic plan will guide us over the long term and identify the priorities we will focus on moving forward.
At the direction of President Robert Henry, a strategic planning steering committee has been formed and is co-chaired by Kent Buchanan and Catherine Maninger. Kent and Catherine will lead the committee through a process designed to point OCU’s strengths and assets toward achievable goals that reflect the future needs of our diverse stakeholders.
The committee is seeking participation from faculty, staff, students, alumni, and other university stakeholders throughout the planning process. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. OCU is working with Huron Consulting Group to support a timely, comprehensive planning process. In addition to providing initial input, the committee will meet with stakeholder this fall and will be seeking volunteers from the campus community to serve on corresponding working groups that will help evaluate the strategic options for Oklahoma City University this winter.
