Group Campus Visits
Is your group ready to Experience Oklahoma City University?
Thank you for your interest in Oklahoma City University! We look forward to seeing you on campus and want to ensure you make the most of your Oklahoma City University Campus Experience. If you plan to visit Oklahoma City University with eight or more students, please review the following policies before requesting a visit. If you have any questions or concerns about scheduling your group visit, please contact Tasha Casey-Loveless, Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions, at email@example.com or 800-633-7242 ext. 1.
Group visits are available Monday through Friday with the exception of some blackout dates. We do not offer group visits on Saturdays or Sundays. We ask that you submit your preferred visit date as well as two alternate dates using the online Group Campus Visit Request form. We will do our best to accommodate your request; however, due to overlapping requests or staff limitations, we may not be able to schedule your visit on one of your requested dates. To provide the best visit experience we limit our group size to 40 students with four chaperones.
All groups with students must provide one adult chaperone for every 10 students. Campus tours will be led by current Oklahoma City University students, and chaperones are asked to accompany these tours. Oklahoma City University reserves the right to cancel the campus tour if enough chaperones are not available.
We ask you to submit the online Group Campus Visit Request form at least two weeks in advance of your proposed visit day. The visit will be confirmed by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions via an email that provides you with the date, time, and arrival location for your group visit. Groups who do not show for a scheduled visit or cancel within 24 hours of their visit day will be reviewed prior to future group visit requests.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions has developed a short list of questions that will help get your group in the right mindset for its visit to Oklahoma City University. We encourage you to review these questions with your group prior to its visit. Questions have also been provided for use in discussion with your group after its visit. Your group will be doing a lot of walking during its time on campus. Campus tours are approximately 1-3 hours depending on the size and the requests of the group. Please encourage everyone in your group to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. We also encourage to you check the local weather a day or two prior to your visit to see if other items are needed, such as an umbrella or jacket. If your group would like to eat lunch on campus in our cafeteria for a discounted cost of $5 per person, please make arrangements in advance with Tasha Casey-Loveless, Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-633-7242 ext. 1. Checks should be made payable to the Oklahoma City University or we can arrange for invoice billing.
We ask your group to respect Oklahoma City University and its students, faculty, staff, and grounds. Failure to do so may result in an early conclusion to the campus visit and review upon future campus visit requests.
