Rebekah Bruce Parker

Rebekah Bruce Parker, a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, has had an active role in OKC Metro-area music for several years. She has directed, performed, and coached with Edmond Summerstock, Edmond North, Santa Fe and Memorial High Schools, the Oklahoma Community Orchestra, the Pollard Theatre, and OCU’s Vocal Arts Institute, and she maintains a private studio of voice, flute and piano students. Ms. Parker has performed at two National Flute Association conventions and was the piano division winner of the Oklahoma Community Orchestra Young Artist Concerto Competition in 2010. Other accolades include the Outstanding Soloist at the Wichita Jazz Festival, the MTNA Student Achievement Recognition Award, a COMTA Flute Scholarship, Outstanding Upperclassman Music Major at Oklahoma Christian University, and Principal Flute of the OMEA Intercollegiate Wind Ensemble.
Ms. Parker received an undergraduate degree in Piano Performance from Oklahoma Christian University in 2010, and a graduate degree in the Master of Music in Vocal Coaching program at the Bass School of Music, Oklahoma City University in 2012. In the summer of 2010, she was an apprentice vocal coach with Si Parla, Si Canta, an opera program in Urbania, Italy and in 2012, Ms. Parker attended the highly selective Goodspeed Music Direction Intensive.
Rebekah lives in Oklahoma City with her husband James and goldendoodle Desmond.
