Oklahoma City University will open the 2012 High School Print & Drawing show Sunday in the Nona Jean Hulsey Art Gallery. The gallery is in the Norick Art Center at N.W. 26th Street and Blackwelder Avenue. Admission is free to the public.
Oklahoma City University’s Art Department has been sponsoring and presenting the High School Print & Drawing Competition since 1985. Each fall, students from high schools throughout Oklahoma submit work for exhibition.
More than 100 prints, drawings, paintings, collages and photographs entered by students from 27 Oklahoma secondary schools are represented in this year’s exhibit.
The exhibit is open until Nov. 18. Gallery hours during this exhibit are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
