WHY CHOOSE OKLAHOMA CITY UNIVERSITY?
While some programs say you will finish in less than 16 months, qualifying for admission may take considerably longer. Kramer School of Nursing has fewer prerequisites for entry than most Second Bachelor's programs in nursing.
You can't argue with success. Over 98% of our Bachelor's-to-BSN graduates have passed the NCLEX-RN on the first try. Since 2001 100% of our graduates have been hired within one month after starting their job searches!
No more general education classes! Because you already met the general education requirements for your first bachelor's degree, all you need to enter are some basics to prepare you for nursing classes.

ABOUT THE BACHELOR'S-TO-B.S.N. PROGRAM AT OKLAHOMA CITY UNIVERSITY
Concurrent with the severe worldwide nursing shortage is a growing cohort of displaced workers, dissatisfied employees, and underemployed college graduates. Growing job insecurity, compounded by burnout or disillusionment with career choices, is leading more and more people to change careers to nursing. Readily available jobs, the ability to obtain work anywhere, the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of work settings, and the growing salaries, benefits, and incentives offered are difficult to ignore.
The Kramer School of Nursing at Oklahoma City University offers a fast track to the BSN degree and RN licensure for people who already have bachelor’s degrees in other fields wanting to switch careers. Without reducing the number of credit hours, class hours, or clinical experience hours, the Bachelor’s-to-BSN track produces new nurses in just 16 months, graduating a new group every year. It was the first such program in Oklahoma and has become a role model for similar programs across the nation.
