Call for Proposals

“A Legacy in Transcultural Nursing featuring Dr. Madeleine Leininger," Kramer School of Nursing’s 7th Annual CARING ACROSS CULTURES Conference, October 1, 2010

This call is for proposals for plenary session presentations. Submissions representing a variety of disciplines are welcome, with proposals addressing one of the following topics given preference for consideration:

• Transcultural nursing theory
• Approaches to care in rural cultures
• Research on transcultural care
• Cultural considerations with vulnerable populations

Proposal submissions in MS Word or PDF form, as well as any questions regarding this event, should be directed to Christopher Black, Graduate and Continuing Education Specialist, at to cblack@okcu.edu. Conference registration fees will be waived for those who are selected to present. The deadline for submission is Sunday, February 28, 2010. If questions, call (405) 208-5832.

Oklahoma City University reserves the right to print abstracts and use presenter information in the promotion of this event.
