Linda Cook, PhD, CNS, CNE, has been with KSN since 2007 and is the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs. Before coming to KSN, she was on the faculty at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, the University of Maryland, Temple University, Episcopal Hospital School of Nursing (Pennsylvania), University of Pennsylvania, and Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Cook’s certifications include Certified Nurse Educator, Adult Mental Health Nursing, CCRN, and others. She has also maintained a therapy practice, coordinated the South Texas CISM team, published in a variety of professional journals, and has been active in professional organizations. Her PhD in Nursing is from the University of Pennsylvania with an emphasis in chemical dependence and women’s issues. Her MS in Nursing was earned at the University of Maryland in Adult Mental Health Nursing. She has bachelor’s degrees in nursing and psychology also from the University of Maryland, as well as a diploma in nursing from St. Anthony Hospital School of Nursing.
