Dr. Greg Brooks is a Family Nurse Practitioner and the director of the BSN-DNP program (FNP pathway) at Oklahoma City University’s Kramer School of Nursing. His DNP degree was earned at the University of Arizona with a focus on System Analysis and Quality Improvement implementation. He received his Master of Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2000 and has practiced in Northern Oklahoma counties and Oklahoma County, where he currently resides. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Oklahoma State University in 1993, and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1996. For 8 years, he previously taught at the OU Health Sciences Center in the Nurse Practitioner Program, where he taught Advanced Assessment, Primary Health Care for the Adult, Primary Health Care for the Family, radiology, suturing, orthopedics among other topics. He is currently active in Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, where he is an invited speaker to present on radiology and advanced suturing.
