CURRICULUM
The MSN degree requires successful completion of 33 graduate credit hours and all other degree requirements. The curriculum addresses three focal areas: the graduate nursing core, advanced clinical expertise, and role preparation.

MSN/MBA OPTION
Students in the Nursing Administration track may also earn a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degree through the university by completing a total of 60 credit hours for both the MSN and MBA. Admission to the MBA requires a TOEFL of 560 (international students only), a GPA of 2.8, and admission into the MBA program by the Meinders School of Business. Such students will have a faculty advisor from each program to help assure proper completion of the two degrees. Students may work on the degrees sequentially or concurrently and may start the MBA option at any time, but must also take the GMAT during the first semester of the MBA program.
Requirements for the MSN are the same as the Nursing Administration track. The MBA option for MSN students requires the following courses. Courses within each of the blocks below must be taken in the sequence listed. Students may not enroll in more than two of the blocks at the same time. (*MSN courses not repeated for the MBA)
