Kissing Clancy Contest Yields Winner

The winner of the KSN Kissing Clancy Contest was announced Valentine's Day, Tuesday, February 14, 2012.  KSN faculty members Dr. Marvel Williamson, Dr. Susan Barnes, and Prof. Dianna Bottoms participated in the contest.  The winner was selected via the largest amount of money donated to Maua Methodist Hospital in the contestant's name, and was allowed to give a kiss to Clancy, a bulldog owned by KSN alumna Michele McEver.  While Dr. Williamson, Dean of Kramer School of Nursing, appeared to have a commanding lead going into the final announcement, a spirited battle of last-minute donations among staff, faculty, and students created several lead changes.  In the end, $448.16 was raised to benefit Maua Methodist Hospital in Kenya, and Dr. Barnes was the lucky one to kiss Clancy.

KSN thanks all who participated in the contest!
