What is my student identification number?
Your student ID is given to you once you are admitted to the university. It is begins with a B and is followed by eight (8) numbers, for example, B00001234. It may be referred to as your Star Access ID. You will need to include your student ID on all communication with Oklahoma City University, including assignments and exams.
I don’t know my student ID. How to do I retrieve it?
By using your email address, you can request your student ID be sent to you by going to this website: www.okcu.edu/admin/registrar/SA/SA_ID.aspx.
What is my Oklahoma City University email address?
Your email address will be emailed to you once you have been admitted to the University. It is typically your first initial of your first name, first initial of your middle name and your last name followed by @my.okcu.edu. For example: John Michael Doe would be jmdoe@my.okcu.edu. For more information or access your email, please go to www.okcu.edu/technology/email.
NOTE: The university e-mail system is utilized as the official method of communication. Important information and notices will be sent via your OCU e-mail account. This information may include important dates, times and deadlines. Paper notices are no longer used. All OCU students are required to activate their e-mail account and check it on a regular basis. Failure to check and maintain your account may result in missing important information, dates and/or deadlines.

How do I log into BlueLink?
To log in, you will use your OCU network username and password. Your username is the first portion of your email address. For example: John Michael Doe’s email is jmdoe@my.okcu.edu and his username is jmdoe. Upon logging in you will see the “Home” tab as well as a series of other tabs. The tabs you see are based on who you are: Staff, Faculty, Student or in some cases, a combination of these roles.
To log in to and use the system, you must supply a valid username and password and be using a recent version of a standard internet browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
This login and password is also the same to access Oklahoma City University’s library online resources.
What is my password?
Initially, your password for your email will be initially the same as your student account (BlueLink) password; however, these passwords are not synchronized. If you change it, it will not change both accounts.
I have forgotten my BlueLink Password. How do I request it?
If you have forgotten your password, click the "Don't know your password?" link on http://bluelink.okcu.edu. This will take you to the new password reset request site. Please note, you must know either your username or student ID number ("B" number) AND the personal email address you provided on your application. You must be able to access that personal email address, so you can click on the link to reset the password.
If the student has already created a Questions and Answers profile on http://password.okcu.edu they should use that for password resets and retrievals.
If you are still having trouble with your password, you must complete this form from the Office of the Registrar and scan it to Virginia Oden at voden@okcu.edu. Please be sure to include a copy of an ID.
I am having trouble logging into my student account and/or my email. Who should I contact?

How do I figure my grade point average (GPA)?
Grade point average is calculated by taking the total number of grade points divided by the total number of credit hours. This calculator is helpful in computing your grade point average.
How do I order a transcript?
Current students or students that have attended after 1987 may now submit a request for their transcript online. You will be required to login to your student account to do so. Please note that you will need to have your student ID number and PIN number to utilize this service; contact the Registrar's Office for assistance.
Requests for official transcripts may also be submitted in writing, this can be done by fax, mail or in person (bring a photo ID). A written request will need to contain as much of the following information as possible (missing information may delay the processing of your request).
• Full name-as it is now and as it was when you were enrolled at OCU, if different
• Student ID number and/or social security number
• Date of birth
• Current address and phone number
• Full address(es) where transcript(s) are to be sent
• Date of attendance
• Year of graduation and degree (if applicable)
• Student signature (Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act requirement)
