Career Choices for Justice Studies Majors
Career choices in justice studies are plentiful on the national, state or local level. Our graduates have found found careers in many of the following areas.
- in courts with positions such as lawyers, bailiffs, or child advocates
- in corrections as detention officers, probation or parole officers, or counselors
- in law enforcement, private security, or loss prevention
- as government researchers
- in non-profit agencies
- in pursuit of a masters' or doctoral degree
- in the U.S. Marshals
- in probation and parole
- in the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics
- in homes for at-risk youth
- in juvenile court mediation
