The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with various kinds of serial homicide that can occur, common investigative challenges, and effective investigative techniques. As part of this course, students will be required to review and evaluate selected serial homicide case material provided by the instructor.

The purpose of this course is to famiiliarize students with major motivations for crimes, how to make that determination with behavior, and how to use that kind of evidence in court.
