Core Courses (21 CH)
The curriculum of the Research and Data Analysis program is built around a core of required areas and courses, comprising seven courses.

I. Two Required Areas: One Course From Each Area (6 CH; advisor approval required)

A. Introductory Statistics or Applied Statistics Area

B. Advanced Statistics or Advanced Applied Statistics Area

Areas of Concentration [15-16 CH; must include capstone; required courses as listed or approved substitute(s)]

Students may specialize in one of three areas: business, social science, or mathematics and statistics. Students who select the business concentration may specialize in marketing, economics, or finance. Each concentration requires 15 to 16 CH of course work, which must include a capstone course.

General Education and Other Electives
All undergraduate students complete a liberal arts general education curriculum that forms the basis for learning and thinking. The general education curriculum is described in detail in the Oklahoma City University Undergraduate Catalog. All students must earn a minimum of 124 CH of courses in their chosen major, general education, and electives.

Student schedules will vary depending on their area of concentration. All classes included in the degree program are offered on a regular basis and are included in published schedules.
