New Student Orientation @ Oklahoma City University
Adventure Trips

Get ready to register for your free orientation adventure with a small group of new students and orientation leaders. OCU adventure trips will be from 9 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2006.
Trips will fill-up fast! Sign up at Stars 101 Enrollment Days or by emailing the First Year Experience at pfreilino@okcu.edu Sign-up ends Friday, August 11, 2006. Please rank the six trips in the order of preference. Please note if you have any dietary restrictions, such as vegetarian or lactose intolerant. Provided that each trip has limitations on participation there is no guarantee that you will receive you top choices, although every effort will be made to accommodate your preferences.
Orientation Adventures (Off Campus) New Students need to select 1 of the following distinctive day trips. Lunch provided.
Option 1	Oklahoma City Zoo Trip Get a chance to monkey around on a trip to the largest zoo in Oklahoma. Limited to 35.
Option 2	Mission Impaintable Enjoy a paint ball excursion with other new students. Limited to 20.
Option 3	Rock-n-Eats Climb the largest rock climbing wall in OKC (OKC Rocks). Then eat lunch with your new friends in Bricktown, Oklahoma City’s vibrant entertainment district. Limited to 25.
Option 4	Vintage Adventure Experience a shopping trip some of the best second hand clothing stores in OKC. After shopping enjoy lazar tag with your orientation trip members. Limited to 30.
Option 5	Hefner Boat Party Don’t forget your sunscreen and beach clothes as you prepare for a day of sailing on Lake Hefner. After sailing, return from the water for a BBQ on the shore with your new friends. Limited to 30.
Option 6	Underwater Adventure Experience the world of scuba diving as you embark on this underwater adventure with a small group of fellow students. Limited to 15.

We strive to provide you with the right experiences to start college successfully so that you have the tools to finish successfully. That is why we spend a year planning and working together with students, faculty, and staff, to provide you with a week of unique social and academic activities.
